HR is Lost.
For many HR Execs, leading an HR team is like being LOST on an island. The HR Exec’s Team has game-changing ideas and wants to deliver revenue producing results. However, the HR Exec does not report to the leader at the top, the CEO.
In a 2012 survey of Chief HR Officers in colleges and universities across America, only 16.5% report to the CEO. Do CEO’s even know the name of their CHRO?
To be truly effective and support the CEO in building a Great Workplace that inspires revenue growth, more CHRO’s need to report to CEO’s.
For now, HR is lost.
